What does it mean if your right arm is swollen and more often that not goes numb?

Arm swelling: An examination by a physician or vascular surgeon is warranted because arm swelling, if not from an injury, can be due to a blood clot in a vein. It can also be from blockage of lymph drainage due to pathology like tumor or damage to lymph nodes in the armpit.
