Modest: Fluoxetine Does cause weight gain.Usually initially some weight loss but the average person on the drug will gain 1-2 lbs a year.Some may say big deal but this is a big deal if on the mediaction for 10 years.Howeveer need to look at risk vs benefit withany drug that is chosen.
