Late period ?: A period which is "regular" (24-34 days apart) and "two days late" may not be secondary to pregnancy, as ovulation may have been slightly later, delaying the onset of a period. The described pain may be due to an unruptured ovarian cyst, and if it persists, see your gyn physician for an exam and pelvic ultrasound.
