Heavy periods: If your periods are regular (28-34 days apart), this kind of heavy bleeding may occur with "adenomyosis", which is endometriosis of the uterus proper. Heavy bleeding as described may also occur with fibroid tumors. Best to get an exam by your gyn provider, and perhaps an ultrasound to confirm the nature of the bleeding and pain.
