Exam needed: Anal pain can be caused by a fissure,thrombosed hemorrhoid sphincter spasm ,perianal abscess or perianal dermatitis. An examination and visualization of the anal area is required in order to make a diagnosis. A proctologist or colorectal surgeon are best qualified to treat these conditions. In the meantime apply warm compresses.
