A member asked:

I sometimes sit on my hip but not for a long time and it causes some pain. is that normal?

The basics: Musculoskeletal pain is a sign that something has been or is being injured. This can include injuries you acquired but never realized it at the time and injury that your posture is triggering. If it improves with simple measures, ie. mild pain meds, cool or warm compress, you can likely ignore it. If it is frequent & alters your activities have it evaluated.
