Would follow up with MD and ask about reflux/ antireflux medication or positions( like elevating head of bed with pillow under mattress ), If all negative consider neurology evaluation f/u /w /MD

May be night terror: Night terrors are events that occur in deep sleep like sleep walking & the child has no memory of the event. If you touch a kid in a night terror, they do not awaken but continue for a time & then relax back into sleep if you let them. Touch a kid in a nightmare & they alert immediately & know you. You should discuss this with her doc.

Doctor may check: A 15 month-old who starts crying every night for a few nights may see his doctor. Cause could be ear pain, throat ulcers, head ache, tummy pain, tight clothes, fever, or something else that's preventing him from sleeping. Might be starting a new viral or bacterial illness. But, if a toddler is perfectly fine in the daytime but continues nightly crying, it could just be a habit that needs breaking.
