It should not, but..: Sometimes there will be sperm before an ejaculation. There are likely always sperm after an ejaculation. The rule is, fertile couples who have sex will have babies... at some point, but maybe not the first time they have sex, nor the second,... but it will happen. That is why a good, reliable birth control method is needed all the time. Of course, not having any type of sex means no babies.

Agree with Dr. K: Risk of pregnancy is very low. If you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
