A member asked:

What can i do if i have gastritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reflux: The symptoms are characteristic of GERD rather than gastritis although she could have both. For gastritis, avoid Spicey foods, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, aspirin and medications like ibuprofen or naproxen .Also take medication like prilosec or zantac. This helps GERD but don't eat for 2 hours before bedtime, sleep with chest higher than stomach and avoid oily foods. See a gastroenterologist as need
