A member asked:

What are symptoms of high thyroid levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid disorders : There are several tests for thyroid disorders which need to be evaluated together to determine if the patient has hyperthyroidism (over active), hypothyroidism (underactive) or any of several other thyroid problems. Most often, but not always, high TSH will accompany hypothyroidism with symptoms including weight gain, sluggishness, hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails, and a host of other symptoms.
