No alarm.: intertrigo is an inflammation of body folds. It is red, scaly chafing where the skin-on-skin area prevents perspiration from evaporating and results in a fungal / bacterial infection. Ill fitting bras can irritate under and around breasts as well. Clean area well and dry thoroughly. Allow air flow. Wear sports bra. Get it evaluated if no improvement.
