The basics: The common features of an upset stomach are often tied to acid production & backwash into the swallow tube. An antacid tablet like Tums can often give short term relief. If this is an ongoing (weeks/months) issue I would have it checked out by your doc.

Too vague: "Upset stomach" is not a diagnosis, not even a symptom of any meaning. See a DR if you have a significant issue. If you hope for even a guess from here you will need to describe details about intensity of pain, location, and the presence of nausea, diarrhea, etc. Had same thing in the past? Taking any meds? Any known illnesses? Menstrual and sexual history?
