My 5year old boy woke up this morning and say his throat is itchy and that he struggles to swallow and if he swallow it end with a burb ?

Missing info: Fever ? Pain ? The issue is not clear from the post. If it is painful to swallow it may be an early sign of a developing problem. If he develops fever it would be reasonable to check for strep A.
