In general, how severe is celiac plexus nerve pain from pancreatic cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Quite severe: Hello, plenty of patients will have abdominal pain from pancreatic cancer, especially celiac plexus nerve pain. This type of pain varies from patient to patient depending on the characteristic of the cancer at the time of presentation; however, patients with severe pain may be candidates for celiac plexus blocks (CPB) which can be quite effective at relieving this particular cause of pain.
