Back and leg pain : Back pain going to the leg with pins and needles is most likely an inflamed nerve in the back. But the questions is why do you have it? Spine-related pain is most likely due to long-standing problems like back arthritis or degenerated low back discs which get inflamed. Rarely does advanced testing add information when compared to a good physical examination from an experienced spinal specialist
