My 16 year old daughter has suddenly developed an intolerance to dairy products. this started about 4 months ago and has got progressively worse. what would cause this sudden onset, could it be caused by un underlying illness? can it be reversed?

Lactose intolerance: Is common, not related to an underlying illness, rather lack of an enzyme , lactase, which breaks down that sugar present in the milk. Lactose free milk or lactase tablets would help, ask your pharmacist about it, if no improvement, she may need gastroenterologist evaluation, wish you both wellness
