No: If you carry the diagnosis of a hiatal hernia it does not explain pain when walking. It's features are more or less limited to patterns of heartburn, sour taste in your mouth, chest pain, belly pain, etc. . It has no link to walking.

No typically: No, hiatal hernia pain is not typically associated with increased pain when walking. It typically will cause symptoms of “heartburn” that are worsened in a recumbent position.
