The basics: Sleep issues vary in their origin & potential treatment. You can have difficulty getting to sleep. You can go to bed & "sleep" for a normal time but not enter deep enough sleep to replenish your need. To sort this out you need to seek out a sleep disorder specialist for an evaluation. An overnight sleep study may be needed if other issues are not the problem.
