Separate accounts: In general, each adult needs a separate medical account, for both privacy and medical safety reasons regardless of who is actually paying the bills, and regardless of any relationship among the adults. Also, each adult (not just one person of a married couple) should know how to use his or her insurance, access doctors and hospitals, plus make payments on medical bills.

Wrong place to ask: This is the HT public information site where people are invited to describe health problems and ask related questions. While many of us are physicians, we have no direct access to or information about how your doctor may run his/her practice. That question is best directed to the office involved. It would usually not be a problem to add a family member but billing may be done separately.
