Growth: Colon cancer, like others, are graded according to stages. Stage 1 superficial caner. Stage 2 invasive cancer partially through the colon wall. Stage 3 invasive cancer through colon wall and spread to lymph nodes. Stage 4 is colon cancer spread to other organs (liver, lung, etc).
