I had sudden tonsilitis on sunday. doc gave penicillin injection as well as amoxil and stopane tablets and lozenges i am now coughing (wet) and throat and voice are not clear yet?

Give it time: Such infections take several days to respond to antibiotics. In addition, most (all?) your symptoms might be due to a viral infection, and antibiotics have no effect at all against viruses. Your doctor may have prescribed penicillin and amoxil in hope it would help, but knowing it may not. Recheck with the doc if symptoms aren't improving after 7-10 days, or if you develop fever or chest pain.
