See doctor : Depression is common and is treatable. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain, not a moral failing. Exercise helps. Do at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise each week. If need be, take medication.

Go to your PCP: The subject header says it all. It's not a stigma anymore, and the mere fact that you're wondering if you have it should warrant a quick visit to your primary care provider. See below: Agree with Dr. Rosenbach. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, it is not a moral failing. Effective treatments are available. You should see your doctor. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
