More info needed: We cannot make a differential diagnosis or suggestions without more description of symptoms. Where in the abdomen is the discomfort? Is there tenderness? Nausea or vomiting? Bloating? Constipation or diarrhea? Steady or cramping symptoms? If symptoms are severe, she should be examined promptly in the hospital emergency room.
