Endometriosis? : If an ultrasound exam showed "fluid behind the uterus" at the end of menstruation, it may be a result of bleeding intra-abdomenally from endometriotic implants in the lower abdomen. Consult your gyn physician about "endometroisis" , as it can be a source of both increasing pain/cramping with menses, and infertility.
