Saw a doctor and got a vaginal exam- i was diagnosed with bv and the test was negative for anything else. is it normal for my anal area to be itchy?

Could be normal: Although the anal area contains significant bacteria, this area can still be "irritated" by additional bacteria causing "itching". When the Rx is completed for B.V. the "itching" should stop. If not notify your GYN MD.
