A member asked:

Aion gap calculation results. sodium 140, chloride 109, bicarbonate 23, albumin 4.0.=6.9 meq/l. non anion gap acidosis. what does it mean, concern?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the data you presented does not show anion gap. There is no information about acidosis. Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, and get HPV vaccine.
