Vaginal testing : Most likely, this was a Pap smear, but the swab could have been testing specifically for HPV or for certain STD’s. Please contact your doctor’s office and ask what test was performed. Try not to be intimidated by the medical system and don’t be afraid to ask what they are doing at every exam.
