See your GP: Lumps and bumps are hard to sort out without an exam. Please see your GP. If could be arthritic changes, or an infection, or it could be a tissue formed around a splinter that was never removed, or it could be something else! See your GP and get it evaulated. If it hurts a lot, is hot to the touch, you have fever or red streaks, go to an Emergency Department or see your doc right away,
