Fainting after bath: occurs due to blood vessels dilating in response to heat, and when standing there is insufficient blood to reach the brain. This is more likely to happen during illness, dehydration, or prolonged sitting in hot water. Drinking a lot of fluids is helpful. Most people feel well after a few hours after eating and drinking and if not, see your doctor for evaluation of other causes.
