Vaginal bleeding: Bleeding after sex certainly ins't normal, but it depends on the circumstances. If this was your first or second time having sex, bleeding from a torn hymen is common. Otherwise, it might be a minor injury. Or perhaps you have cervical inflammation (cervicitis) or an infection, especially an STD like gonorrhea or chlamydia. This is the main thing to worry about. Get care ASAP.
