According to the pdf immediate release luvox should be dosed 2x daily if over 100 mg ....is that for efficacy?

Probably SE's: Medication doses are often split to reduce side effects & improve tolerability. I suspect that this is more of the reason since a dose of 100mg does not need to be split. That would mean the efficacy of the single dose vice the split dose is likely equivalent or similar.
