A member asked:

Is it normal during menopause to get a prickly/tingling feeling in your forehead/temple area followed by a hot flash several times a day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hot flashes: Hot flashes are consistent with peri-menopause which is a prelude to the menopausal state. Have your GYN MD exam you and check your FSH blood test which may indicate a beginning of this process. He/she can also run a TSH blood test to rule out thyroid abnormalities which can also cause "hot flashes".
