Some basics: Your vagina is a compartment where the environment is moist. The mucus therein is all germs need to thrive. Since your poop hole is so close to the vagina, it is not hard for germs in your poop to migrate over & contaminate the area. Poor wiping technique can add to the problem. Any self stimulation in the area can also add to risk. I would talk this over with your doc.
