Breast lump: In teen age years in general, breast tissue is still maturing to adult size, and hormonal stimulation of breast tissue causes "fibrocystic changes" which can be felt beneath the surface skin. This is essentially normal at age 16. See your healthcare provider for an exam if your concerns persist.
