Neuralgia: These fleeting,temple pains are characteristic of neuralgia which is usually a nonserious irritability/inflammation of a superficial scalp nerve. These pains may be sharp,also. This tends to resolve without specific treatment. If not or if there becomes steady or severe pain, consult your physician or a neurologist.
