Uri: A viral upper respiratory tract infection or a nasal polyp may be the cause of your blocked nasal passage. These infections last about 1 week. Try irrigations with warm salt water and/or a nasal decongestant spray at this time. If blockage persists, get an examination by your physician or an Otolaryngologist for evaluation.
