Possibly: If you are not practicing birth control and are sexually active, a late period could signal pregnancy. However, about 1/3 of women experience late periods or abnormal bleeding at some point. Take a pregnancy test. If negative, your period will likely start on its own in the near future. If it doesn't, you should contact your physician.
