Uncertain: Insomnia as a side effect of Haldol or use of Haldol to eliminate insomnia? Insomnia can occur in up to 19% of people taking Haldol. In larger doses Haldol can be used for rapid sedation of patients who are agitated or violent. I don't have an exact answer for your question.
