Dear dr the teacher called me in , as my daughter is swapping some of her letters in a word - the b and d but also if she has to write "so" she writes "os". she suggested a prof in jhb , his a optometrist , as she thinks my daughter needs glasses. ?

The tendency for a kid to switch letter position or direction varies with age, which is not provided. This is a developmental issue & not something glasses will do anything for.
