Is it possible to get hiv from an open wound contact?

With difficulty: The wound would have to be actively bleeding and you would need a break in the skin in order for the virus to penetrate. There also needs to be enough viral concentration to infect. Overall chances are low. However if this is a real situation it's important to get tested and start prophylactic treatment as soon as possible.
