Yes, it can be used : as an emergency contraceptive. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of sex, the sooner the better. The dosage is 4 (four) active tablets by mouth as soon after sex as possible, at least within the 72 hours of sex, and then repeat this dose in 12 hours. Unfortunately, this may cause nausea, and if vomiting withing 1 hours, dose may need to be repeated. Taking the medication with food helps.
