Test too early: If your LMP was 9/18/18, a normal time to check a urine, HPT would be 1 week after missed period, or about 10/23/18, or 10/16/18 at the earliest. A blood test ordered by your doctor is more sensitive but can be positive earlier. Sometimes the hormones in the BC pills can also cause PMS like symptoms with tender breasts and acne. Discuss with your doctor if symptoms do not resolve.
