Abnormal bleeding: Abnormal bleeding is very common, even in someone who normally has very regular periods. It will likely correct itself. If it persists, your doctor can evaluate for causes of irregular bleeding. With an IUD and vasectomy, there would be no concern for pregnancy, assuming your boyfriend has been tested since the vasectomy and known to be sterile.
