About 2 weeks: Ovulation occurs approximately day 14 of the cycle, with day 1 of the cycle being the first day of the period. If the time between the start of your periods is significantly more or less than the textbook timing of every 28 days, ovulation could be at a different time. Ovulation test kits can tell you when you are ovulating.
