A member asked:

I have a lump under the navel, this is post 6 months of mymectomy. this lump is growing and painful and its starting to change color.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Lump under navel": Unrelated to the myomectomy, this "lump" may represent an umbilical hernia, which is usually not serious, but should be checked, as if large enough, small intestine may be trapped in the hernia and cause pain and obstruction of your intestines. See your surgeon who did the myomectomy for an exam, as these kinds of hernias are easily repaired.
