A member asked:

What can i treat an indent on my nose with? it was caused by a pus filled zit months ago and a dr here replied saying its normal on the nose.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See cosmetic surgeon: Deep pits after an infection sometimes flatten with time, and it helps to massage the skin to break up adhesions of the surface skin with underlying tissue. Sometimes dermabrasion may help or a cosmetic surgeon may be able to inject colloid to fill the area if large and deep. Unfortuantely, pits are common after large zits. Also, a horizontal nasal crease is common with allergy prone people.
