Be aware: There really isn't any evidence that UV rays from the tanning bed will affect a pregnancy. Two issues come about: 1) unnecessary exposure to UV radiation isn't ideal for your skin from a cosmetic(wrinkles) and skin cancer perspective 2) lying down on your back, especially further along pregnancy wise, can lead to compression of major blood vessels/liver/stomach that may cause issues

Stay hydrated: If you are planning to tan in the sun, be sure to remain hydrated and not overheat. Rays from the sun or tanning bed are not known to cause injury to the pregnancy, but overheating can be detrimental to you and thus possibly your pregnancy. Also of concern is the effects of tanning/UV exposure to the skin (wrinkles, skin cancer).
