Antibacterial soap: Assuming the goal is to prevent infection, a better option would be to use antibacterial soap such as Dial or Hibiclens skin cleanser (can be found at Walmart, CVS, Target, etc.). Alcohol could be irritating and drying to the skin. The cleanser will reduce the bacteria in the area and decrease risk of infection.
