Painful urination: Like any muscle which is strengthened by multiple contractions, the bladder muscle can go into spasm, and a sustained cramp may occur. If this continues, see your gyn for a referral to a urogynecologist (specialist in female urologic ailments). A history of repeated "UTI's" can make this symptom more likely, even if no infection is present currently.
