Clean/abx/cover: You clean it well with soap & water. You apply a simple antibiotic ointment available over the counter. You apply a band-aid or similar covering large enough to protect it from outside contamination. Examine the area at least once a day to look for changes-like redness or drainage. Repeat the process daily until it heals.
